With over 10 years of experience in the building surveying industry, Asik Regmi is a seasoned expert dedicated to ensuring compliance without compromising regulatory compliance and staying true to the client’s vision. As a Building Surveyor, Asik Regmi combines deep technical knowledge with a practical understanding of industry standards, making a significant impact on every project undertaken.

Throughout Asik’s career, He has developed a robust skill set in attaining extensive knowledge and application of the EPA Act 1979, EPA Regulation 2021, EPA (DCFS) regulation 2021, SEPP code, BCA Volume One, Volume two, all referenced Australian Standards, inspections, compliance assessments, and project management. Asik has successfully navigated a wide range of building surveying challenges, from initial planning stage to turnkey completion of projects. His keen eye for detail and commitment to quality has consistently resulted in thorough, accurate assessments and actionable insights.

Asik Regmi’s has over the years worked in both private companies and local council serving the construction industry. He has gained experience working in both residential and commercial development from small projects (house, extensions, granny) to large-scale developments including some of the iconic developments (Barangaroo Crown Casino, Sydney Metro – Northwest, etc). Through these years, Asik discovered his deep passion for the construction industry and is committed to continuing his work in the industry. Asik’s goal is to contribute positively to our community and serve the community.

In addition to their technical acumen, Asik is known for their exceptional client service and communication skills. He takes pride in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice, and ensuring that every project aligns with the client’s vision and regulatory requirements.

When not immersed in building surveying projects, Asik enjoys cycling across the iconic Harbour Bridge, has undertaken adventurous mountain trek in Nepal, and values spending quality time with family, balancing professional achievements with personal passions.

He regularly participates in educational seminars and workshops, sharing his knowledge and experiences with aspiring professionals.

Sayed is a registered building surveyor with over ten years of dedicated experience serving the Victorian and New South Wales building surveying industry. He recently became part of Paragon and has established a reputation for delivering meticulous, high-quality building surveying services and contributing significantly to the successful completion of diverse construction projects.

Sayed embarked on his journey in building surveying after obtaining an associate degree in Civil Engineering from RMIT university and Advance Diploma in Building Surveying from Holmesglen Institute. Early in his career, he joined Steve Watson and Partners, where he honed his skills and developed a comprehensive understanding of building regulations, Building Act, National Construction Codes including referenced Australian standards, and conducting mandatory inspections. His role involved reviewing projects for approval pathway/process ensuring compliance with the current legislation.

In 2016, Sayed became a member of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS), a milestone that underscored his commitment to professional excellence and adherence to industry standards. Over the years, he has worked on a wide range of projects, from residential(house, duplex’s, extensions, granny) to commercial developments (Synnex, Bunnings Warehouse, Fitzroy Sports Complex, Aldi fitouts, National Broadband Network (NBN), Department of Environment , Land, water and planning, Westpac Banks and Telstra communication towers) and has successfully navigated the complexities of each.

In addition to his technical skills, Sayed is highly regarded for his exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities. He prides himself on providing clear, actionable advice to clients, ensuring that they are well-informed throughout the surveying/construction process. His collaborative approach has earned him the trust and respect of both clients and colleagues.

Sayed’s contributions to the field have been recognized through various industry awards and commendations. He remains actively involved in professional development and continues to stay up to date with the latest industry trends and regulatory changes. His dedication to continuous learning ensures that he remains at the forefront of industry practices.
